While there is no proper organization or board that designates the courses to the gold-list, but annually these are ranked by places like golf-magazines and golf-digests. These are some courses that we see exceptionally beautiful, challenging, and are at the top of our list.


1- ROYAL COUNTY DOWN G.C. (CHAMPIONSHIP); Newcastle, Northern Ireland

This spot is absurd in the best way possible. It presents the best facilities, training sites, and is located at one of the naturally fine links globally. The design currently refined by the architect; Donald Steel, that initially was mapped by Old Tom Morris. It is the most renowned, prestigious, and feared among its competitors, universally, owed to its graceful architecture, and versatile course structure.

2- Tara Iti Golf Club; Mangawhai, New Zealand 

Designed by Tom Doak, in the year 2015, and accounts as a strong competitor for the Royal Countdown, complementing its fine course architecture ornamented by primary facilities. It is a private club, that has secured it rank as one of the finest linked to its glorious and dignified course structure and design; that value their members, and present a one time access to their guests; owed to availability card and structured process.

3- Pine Valley Golf Club; Clementon, New Jersey

The golf course presented appears to be holding a mystery to its character, as it seems difficult to trace and is a private club. Regardless of its mysterious identity, it is recognized as one of the world's most finest courses till date, validly attributable to its green complexes and hazard posts that intimidatingly trains its players to push in extra effort and strength followed by technical strategy.

4- Cypress Point; Pebble Beach, California

Designed by Alister MacKenzie, a well acclaimed 18-hole course, complemented by dramatic holes and hazards. Cypress Point Golf club was initially part of AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, while owed to their resistance in letting a Black join the club, they were dropped. 5- St. Andrews (Old Course); St. Andrews, Scotland, United Kingdom 

The old courses of St. Andrews is recognized as a well renowned course, hosting the Open Championship, persistent for a record of 29 times. The notable value presented to the Old Course has been awarded volumes of writings on, in the entire golf history, and its primacy been assessed unmatched by a huge sum of players.

The list isn't restricted to the ones we've mentioned above, yes, these hold the absolute best rank and are gold-listed, but there are a quite a lot of courses that require pronounced attention based on the structural domain, hazards, and player feedback We hope these recognized and well researched listed courses were resourceful!
